Job DescriptionTaisun Group has embarked on a Transformation journey to deliver on its promise of profitable, sustainable growth. To realize its compass strategy of doubling the size of the business while reducing its inefficiencies, Taisun wants to embark on a new role to anchor its profitable growth agenda through proper business control and strengthen with Net Revenue Management (NRM) discipline and program. NRM (Net Revenue Management) is a new but systematic approach to defining our strategic pricing, our price-pack architecture, our promotions and our trade terms structure with the aim of driving profitable growth. For 2023 and beyond, business control and NRM discipline have been identified as one of our core strategic growth enablers.
As Commercial Business Controller you are responsible to ensure proper accounting and booking of all Commercial utilization of expenses in Sales and Marketing Expense line and for creating growth strategies for Winsun through portfolio optimization, pricing, active mix management, trade spend utilization and promotional spend excellence. You will collaborate and act as a crucial link between the Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams throughout the process to ensure strategy alignment and execution. As Commercial Business Controller you will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Review, compile & evaluate monthly forecast submission from heads of channel, trade & marketing, and submission of consolidated commercial business forecast to various department ie planner & finance
2. Prepare various analysis report include commercial PL by channels, regions & brand
3. Review, monitor & tracking of trade & marketing expense, including accruals & actual payment management to avoid surprises in under or over-accruals
4. Conduct in-depth portfolio assessments to set brand objectives, identify price realization gaps, highlight white spaces and ensure price-pack execution to support the brand and portfolio strategy
5. Optimize channel-customer / pack mix to accelerate profitable growth for Taisun and customers
6. Evaluate consumer promotional strategies including alignment with brand objectives, promotional responsiveness as well as ROI profile. Recommend an optimal promotion strategy.
7. Identify conclusions through in-depth analysis, using financial tools/frameworks and methodologies which will be developed over time for this role
8. Develop methodologies in order to perform financial analyses and scenario development that will be the base for portfolio pricing simulations and white space launches
9. Collaborate and act as a crucial link between the Marketing, Customer and Finance teams throughout the NRM process to ensure strategy alignment and execution
10. Responsible for relationship management with key stakeholders in Modern Trade

Degree in Finance, Business, and/or relevant discipline from a notable university.
